Charmaine discovered her passion in canine styling during her debut as a groomers assistant in 2007 and promptly pursued a career as a professional stylist. Following the completion of a nationally recognised certification in Pet Grooming, Charmaine established a humble side hustle offering mobile in-house styling, whilst continuing to mentor and manage eminent grooming salons servicing pet owners in Perth's Western and Central suburbs. Filling each salon to capacity in a matter of months, Charmaine soon became a personal stylist and minder to some of Perth's most influential entrepreneurs, professionals and much loved companions and in 2020 Couture Canine in West Perth was born.

Receiving countless grooming awards in 2022-23, including In Group and Runner Up Best In Show awards in various classes and a graduate certificate from Pets Icon, Malaysia in Asian Fusion, Charmaine prides herself most in providing enriching career opportunities and relaxed working conditions for the Couture Canine dream team. With a distinct focus on quality over quantity, she ensures clients are provided with one on one care from professionals who are thriving.
